When you think of global market leaders, you often think of big names in big metropolitan areas. But in fact, there is an incredible number of world leaders located right here in our region – often hidden behind rather inconspicuous company signs, in small towns and surrounded by nature.
This is precisely what makes South Westphalia so special: in our region, medium-sized companies, family-owned companies and high-tech companies often operate side by side. Whether in mechanical engineering, metalworking, automotive, electrical engineering or the plastics industry, there is barely any other region in Germany with as many hidden champions as here.
