Varying demands, shorter project lead times, smaller lot sizes and ever increasing requirements. In view of these conditions, it has become nearly impossible for even the most experienced pipe and vessel manufacturing companies with outdated technology to compete with new production technologies in terms of productivity, quality, consumption of operating media etc. Machines such as for example 3- and 4-roll bending machines or pipe forming presses, which have already been in operation for several years, reach their technological limits when it comes to productivity and flexibility. Forming high-strength material is very difficult, sometimes even impossible.
